India U-16 team go down fighting to U-19 Levante International

NEW DELHI: Down by two goals by the 46th minute, a spirited India U-16 went down 2-3 against U-19 Levante International in their last practice match on their exposure Tour to Spain.

Goals from Komal in the 50th minute, and a penalty conversion from Amarjit in the 80th minute had helped the Indian colts restore parity in the second half, most of which they dominated.
The Spanish side who lead 1-0 at the interval sealed the fate in the 90th minute.
The game brought to an end over a two-month exposure Tour of the future World Cup squad to Germany, Iran and Spain.
